A research is currently in progress on the state of black female mathematicians in Africa.  In particular, information is sought permitting to establish numbers, status and geographic location.  This research is part of a wider project to facilitate increasing the number of women in mathematics and mathematics education.  Those in charge of the research wish to hear from women themselves as well as from researchers currently involved in similar projects.
